ฟือร์เนา เม็งดึช ปิงตู

ฟือร์เนา เม็งดึช ปิงตู (โปรตุเกส: Fernão Mendes Pinto, เสียงอ่านภาษาโปรตุเกส: [fɨɾˈnɐ̃w̃ ˈmẽdɨʃ ˈpĩtu]; ประมาณ 1509 – 8 กรกฎาคม 1583) เป็นนักสำรวจและนักเขียนชาวโปรตุเกสซึ่งได้จดบันทึกการเดินทางของเขาเอาไว้และได้ถูกตีพิมพ์ในชื่อ Pilgrimage เมื่อ ค.ศ. 1614 หรือ 31 ปีหลังจากที่ปิงตูเสียชีวิตซึ่งหนึ่งในนั้นรวมถึงบันทึกการเดินทางมายังกรุงศรีอยุธยา ซึ่งปิงตูได้จดบันทึกถึงประวัติศาสตร์สยามในช่วงเวลาก่อนหน้ารวมถึงในช่วงเวลานั้นเอาไว้
